1. What is Smooth Transition into the NHS?

 

It is an event put together for you to hear live talks from current junior doctors across the country on practical survival tips for medical and surgical jobs. Even more importantly, there is the option of getting information on what you need during your day-to-day practice on the ward.

 

This is our 3rd year of running this event and we constantly get positive feedback on this event. 

2. Who is this event for?

This event is particularly aimed at any doctors or physician associates starting their first job in the NHS either at F1,F2, SHO, GPST, CT, IMT or Registrar levels. It is also open to medics in their penultimate or final years looking to gain guidance as to what to expect in the real world. This is open to doctors who have trained anywhere in the world-within or outside the United Kingdom.It is also useful for any doctor that has taken a significant time out of working and would like to refresh their skills.

3. What time does it start?

It starts at 09:30.

Event link would be sent to you within a week before the event. 

4. What is the day like?

The day has a range of sessions  with live interactive aspects to keep you engaged for the day. 

5. How many workshops can I participate in?

You get to decide how you want your event to go. You need to have attended a minimum of 3 hours of the event in order to get your certificate of attendance. 

6. What are the sessions available?

We have a brief list on our event page as listed below.However, details of the sessions available to you would be sent out to you within a week of the event.

  3. Doing an appropriate handover

7. How do I register for this event?

Registration is online. This would be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. We have limited spaces. 

It would not be streamed to social media forums as it is a bespoke event. 

Any account caught streaming/rebroadcasting this event would be prosecuted accordingly. 

 

8. Who would be leading this event?

This event is being organised by Truly Medical Ltd. The event would ultimately be led by current junior doctors practising across the NHS, with good track records. The idea is that you get to learn from real experiences of the everyday heroes of the NHS.  We do understand you must have studied hard and practised a lot for your OSCEs, so we do not intend to teach you from scratch. Instead, we want to help you finesse your skills while you are not under any exam or ward pressure.

9. Do I get a Certificate of attendance?

Yes, you would receive a certificate of attendance sent to you via email after the event. It is mandatory for all participants to attend a minimum of 3 hours of the session to be given a certificate of attendance. 

10. What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellation Terms:

In the event that you need to cancel your booking, you must do so via email at: info@trulymedical.com. The request should clearly stipulate that you wish to cancel your booking.

 

Refund Policy:

Cancellation is non-refundable.

 

Cancellation by Truly Medical Ltd:

In the unlikely event that Truly Medical has to cancel an event, we will inform you as soon as possible.

In this case, you will be entitled to a full refund.
